When Houston-based designer Barbara Hill purchased a former dance corridor in Marfa, Texas, just a few years again as a trip home, the property was in a state of disrepair, and the landscaping was nonexistent (weeds had engulfed your entire yard). After tackling the inside, Hill moved outside, ripping out the scraggly undergrowth and putting in drought-resistant native plantings like sage, yucca, and nice white cactus. Utilizing reclaimed supplies, she created a collection of paths and a hearth pit point of interest within the yard; we pulled collectively just a few concepts for recreating the look.
